Traditional Thai Brewing and Sweetening
Brew the Tea: Boil 200 ml of water. Add the Cha Tra Mue tea leaves into a tea sock or tea strainer. Pour the hot water over the leaves and steep for about 3-5 minutes. Squeeze out all the flavor by pressing or twisting the sock. - Sweeten the Brew: Immediately while the tea is hot, stir in the sugar and condensed milk. Mix well until fully dissolved.
- Assemble the Drink: Fill a glass with ice cubes. Pour the sweetened tea over the ice, leaving a little room at the top.
- Top with Evaporated Milk: Gently drizzle evaporated milk over the top of the drink for that signature creamy layer.
- Serve and Enjoy: Stir slightly before drinking and enjoy your authentic Thai Tea!
